This pairing works in harmony to help refine skin texture, enhance brightness, and support overall skin clarity while providing essential daily sun protection.

Fade-Away Lightening Serum is an effective, non-irritating and fragrance free formulation. incorporating 3% Kojic Acid and 2% Hydroquinone. Helps lighten hyper-pigmentation, even-out skin tone and improve complexion.

Derma Defense Z-Cote SPF30 provides broad-spectrum UVB and UVA protection from the harmful effects of the sun together with optimum hydration and nutrition for the skin.  Helps defend the skin against environmental stressors and UV exposure, which are key contributors to visible uneven tone.

Key Ingredients:

Kojic Acid - Extracted from the Aspergillus Oryzae species of mushroom which has a melanogenesis inhibitory effect on UV induced hyper-pigmentation. Kojic Acid has the Japanese common name Koji. A by-product in the fermentation process of malting rice. Used in the manufacturing of sake, the Japanese rice wine.

Hydroquinone - A white crystalline phenol that is an aromatic organic compound which occurs naturally and used to fade hyper-pigmentation.

Ingredients:

Active Ingredients - 2% Hydroquinone

Inactive Ingredients - Aqua, SD Alcohol 40, Butylene Glycol, Kojic Acid, Hydroxyethylcellulose.

Warnings:

For external use only. Not to be swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if signs of irritation or rash appear. If irritation persists, consult a doctor.

Sun Alert:

Limiting sun exposure, wearing protective clothing and using sunscreens may reduce the risks of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects of the sun.

Derma Defense Z-Cote SPF30

Key Ingredients:

Zinc Oxide 7% (Z-Cote) - A transparent micro fine zinc oxide to block both UVA and UVB radiation. Excellent for sensitive skin. Zinc Oxide is a physical sun block that is not absorbed and therefore does not cause any allergic reactions.

Octinoxate 7.5% - An effective sun protector which helps absorb ultra violet radiation in the UVB range.

Octisalate 5% - A commonly used UVB protector.

Japanese Green Tea Extract - Helps reduce skin irritation and redness. Performs as an effective anti-oxidant to scavenge free radicals.

Gingko Biloba, Ginseng, and Licorice Extracts –Synergistically blended ingredients to help provide skin protection from signs of aging such as wrinkles, sagging, and age spots. Revitalizes, conditions and nourishes sluggish skin.

Ingredients:

Active Ingredients - Octinoxate 7.5%, Zinc Oxide 7%, Octisalate 5%.

Product InstructionDirections:

Fade-Away Lightening Serum:

Apply directly to discolored areas using a Q-tip after thoroughlycleansing skin. To lighten entire face, apply a small amount to face and neck. Avoid eye areas. Most effective and preferable for use at night.

If using a Glycolic product or Retin A treatment, wait a few minutes before applying over Fade-Away Serum. Do not use when undergoing special treatments such as professional peels.

Use the Derma-Defense Z-Cote SPF 30 during the day to protect the skin from further exposure to UVA and UVB rays. Sun exposure should be limited to prevent darkening from recurring.

Derma Defense Z-Cote SPF30:
Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply as needed to maintain the SPF 30 protection, especially after long exposure to the sun such as exercise, sport activity or swimming.

Recommended when using Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Retinol products, after laser treatments or chemical peels. Suitable for all skin types including sensitive.
